Help! INCH Needs You!

The INCH Conference needs you to volunteer. We require many volunteers to run the conference. We desire and need your help to make the conference a success.

The majority of our volunteer base is teens. We have a unique volunteer opportunity for teens to come and serve on our Teen Task Force, which would include jobs from introducing speakers to handing out bags at the doors of the exhibit hall. Those willing to serve on the Teen Task Force receive lunch and a t-shirt on the day they serve.

The main benefit of volunteering is an opportunity to serve fellow homeschoolers!!

Teen Task Force

Those age 13 & up are encouraged to volunteer for our ‘Teen Task Force’ and have a great conference experience: Don’t just attend – be a part of making it happen!

This year Teen Task Force members choose to serve one full day or both. We do have a Teen Track program “Tomorrow” being offered by Student Statesmanship Institute. Mandatory training required at 8 am on the morning of their volunteer day. $10 fee covers lunch and a T-shirt.

Teens wanting to register without a parent in attendance can either register with a friend’s family, or contact our Teen Task Force coordinators directly at ttf@inch.org.

Following your online registration, you will be contacted via email so that you can provide additional information about work assignments you are most interested in. Any questions about the Teen Task Force can be directed to Jacob Doerr or Emily Anderson at ttf@inch.org.

Working Scholarships Are Available!

We want to make it possible for all those interested in attending the INCH Conference to come, and do not want finances to prevent families from being here. We are currently seeking sponsors to donate to our scholarship fund. In the meantime, for those in desperate financial circumstances, we do have the option of a working scholarship: If you are a low-income, single-parent, or otherwise financially-struggling family who desires to attend this year’s INCH Conference at a discounted rate, feel free to contact our volunteer coordinator about opportunities to volunteer your time in exchange for a full or partial scholarship. You can let us know when you would most like to serve:

  1. Thursday, 5/14 for conference set-up
  2. during the conference on Friday, 5/15
  3. during the conference on Saturday, 5/16
  4. Saturday evening for conference clean-up/ tear-down

If you would like to apply for a working scholarship or have questions about our working scholarship opportunities, email Missie at missie.potter@gmail.com.
