2019 Conference Confusion …… Clarified!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! CONFERENCE season is upon us! Nothing makes a homeschool mom giddier than the knowledge that their annual homeschool conference is right around the corner!

The vendors!   The speakers!   The curriculum!   The encouragement!   The fellowship!
It’s enough to make you buy a new denim jumper!

INCH has some amazing new events planned this year and because the flow of the weekend has a new feel, we’ve made it our “MICHIN” to make sure everyone has all the information they need to get the most out of the conference!

With only a few days left before you head to Lansing, it’s time to grab your notebook and start making your weekend plans today so you don’t miss out on even one exciting event!

Thursday May 16th ScheduleThursday
Begin your day at our Day Under the Dome Rally on the Capitol steps with homeschoolers from around the state praying and singing together in thankfulness to God for the amazing freedoms He has graciously bestowed on Michigan. Meet with your legislators and thank them for working to keep homeschooling free! Then spend the afternoon with family at field trips and tours specially planned for you by MICHN or attend the Legislative Briefing in the Anderson Building, Mackinac Room.

Moms are in for a wonderful time of encouragement Thursday evening with Rachael Carman while dads and kids head to a fun game night!

Friday
Friday morning starts with a bang as the main event kicks off!  Get there early to check in and get some great deals! New to homeschooling? We have an amazing two-hour event just to help you get started on the right foot. For leaders in the homeschool community, we’ve set aside time for encouragement planned especially for you.

Today is a great day for shopping, so take time to visit and support our amazing vendors. Focused panel discussions will offer practical help and guidance for families with unique situations while vendor workshops can help you find just the right resource to serve your family. Make time to meet up with your local Regional Representative and get connected with resources in your community.

The highlight of the weekend takes center stage this evening with the highly anticipated Living Room Reset with Kirk and Chelsea Cameron! You won’t want to miss this amazing event!

Saturday
It’s Workshop day! But don’t think that is the only thing we have on tap – we have another full day of conference fun planned for the entire family! Start the morning worshiping with fellow believers as Dustin Lolli leads and then enjoy another session with Kirk & Chelsea. God-honoring activities for kids and teens ramp up, the vendor hall is open for shopping, and hands-on activities fill the afternoon!

All good things (in this world) must comSaturday Schedulee to an end, so we’ll wrap up the conference with a session featuring Steve & Megan Scheibner, door prize drawings, and a salute to our 2019 homeschool graduates!

We are so thankful that you plan to spend the weekend with us. Our hope is that you leave INCH feeling educated, encouraged, exhorted, and equipped in your mission of home discipleship! You can find more detailed information about each event at INCH.org/conference.
