Not excited about our choices for presidential candidate this fall? Me either! But that doesn’t mean we should neglect to become both excited and involved in campaigns where true conservatives are running. In addition to several state representative and state senate races, there are two statewide races for which I hope every home school family in Michigan will, in some way, become involved.

Michigan Home School Families Under Attack - HB5912 [more]
After 12 years of relative peace for home schoolers in Michigan, 24 Democrats have cosponsored HB5912 that will force new reporting requirements on home school families. According to the language of the bill, the right to home school will “exist only if the child’s attendance is appropriately reported to public school officials.”
